About

The Moorestown Lions Club, founded in 1948, is a volunteer organization of your neighbors who have joined Lions to provide service to the Moorestown Community, people and charities in Burlington County, and New Jersey State as well as support for Lions International Worldwide Charity arm.
Moorestown Lions is part of Lions International; an association over 100 years young, made up of 1.4 million members in 49,000 clubs who bring hands and hearts to the communities we serve in nearly every country on earth. Our Lions and Leos help hundreds of millions of people every year.
Initially focused on vision, as the causes supported by Lions International have grown, so have our own and now include Sight & hearing impaired, food insecurity, childhood cancer, environment & scholarships to name a few.
We work closely with the Moorestown school to provide free eye exams and glasses to children in need. Annually around 30 projects and institutions benefiting sight and hearing impairment, disease research have been funded by the proceeds of the various activities we hold throughout the year.
Our used eyeglass collection and recycling program continues to be successful. With drop-off locations at various sites, including at Percheron Park. Collected glasses are sent for reprocessing and are distributed around the world as the need arises.
Moorestown Lions is the proud sponsor of the annual Holiday Parade, running for over 40 years.
