About
We are a local community of Friends (Quakers). We host Sunday worship in two historic meetinghouses, Moorestown and Mt. Laurel. We worship in the manner of unprogrammed Friends, waiting in expectant silence for the guidance of the Divine. Children are always welcome to join in Meeting for Worship. Our office serves as the hub for inquiries, announcements, or referrals for assistance. Our Pastoral Care Committee provides support for individuals and families in our community. Our Witness in the World Committee engages with causes and organizations that might benefit from Meeting support. We support many social justice projects including: (1) our Friends Enrichment Program, a faith-in-action project to support and enrich the lives of local children; (2) our Fair Trade Shop, dedicated to selling fair trade merchandise to benefit demining initiatives in countries who are cleaning up after an armed conflict; (3) P.A.S.H.I. Moorestown, which makes and donates reusable menstrual pads and carry pouches to support human dignity and help individuals locally, nationally and internationally go to school every day of the month; (4) our Enslavement/Manumissions Project, a research project focused on documenting the history of enslaved and manumitted individuals in our community. All are welcome to join us.
